We are so proud of what we have achieved in the past 15 years. None of this expansion into nine (9) separate centers would have been possible without your generosity. It is your donations that have driven Bra Couture® KC to continue to seek additional demographics throughout the greater Kansas City metro area to establish cancer services centers located as close to those in need as possible. We know that many insurance programs do not cover some of the key items necessary to move through cancer survival gracefully…..choose us as your partner for your corporate wellness programs. We stand by to support your employees in many ways that would be so helpful to them.

The University of Kansas Cancer Center
Bra Couture KC's launch partner
In 2010, Bra Couture KC partnered with the University of Kansas Cancer Center (UKCC) to establish a Patient in Need Fund supporting uninsured and underinsured breast cancer patients. That same year, UKCC launched Missys’ Boutique to provide essential appearance items and resources for individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment.
By 2025, Bra Couture KC reached a major milestone; donating over $1 million to the University of Kansas Cancer Center. These funds have expanded beyond breast cancer care to support uninsured and underinsured men and women facing all types of cancer, helping provide treatment through multiple centers and a general oncology fund.

Founded in 2010 with the University of Kansas Cancer Center, Bra Couture KC has raised nearly $550,000 to support uninsured and underinsured cancer patients through Missys’ Boutique—providing specialized apparel, wigs, and lymphedema services in a supportive care setting.
Helping to provide essential resources – such as transportation, lodging, medications and meals – for patients facing financial hardship. Your gift helps keep care within reach for everyone.
Bra Couture KC provides vital financial support directly to Liberty Hospital and Olathe Hospitals to help uninsured and underinsured patients access essential cancer care and every day necessities.
Founded as a 501(c)(3) in 2014 with a $35,000 donation, the Bra Couture KC Cancer Services Center expands access for underserved patients by providing essential medical supplies, lymphedema care, and financial assistance for basic living needs during treatment.
Verda’s Place, established in 2018 at Sarah Cannon Cancer Center with over $40,000 in donations honoring Verda Salberg, provides uninsured and underinsured cancer patients with essential support—including medical supplies, prescriptions, and financial assistance for basic living needs during treatment.
Bra Couture KC provides an annual $25,000 grant to Cancer Action to support uninsured and underinsured cancer patients with essential services—ranging from nutrition, medical supplies, and transportation to wigs and comfort items—across its Overland Park, Gladstone, and Independence locations.
Bra Couture KC proudly funds and partners with Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center—supporting free mammograms, diagnostics, and expedited cancer care—while expanding access to life-saving services for underserved patients in the Kansas City community.
Bra Couture KC funds the gas card program to ensure uninsured and underinsured cancer patients have transportation to/from cancer treatments.
